We Need To Talk

Anxiety, we need to talk
You’ve been crowding my space lately
The soles of my feet are bloody from the pins and needles you lay for me
My eyes are tired of searching high and low for conflicts that don’t exist
The air around you grows thinner and my breaths get more shallow by the day
I guess what I’m trying to say is, you gotta go
It’s time for us to call it quits, and for good this time
